In attending the recent International Osteoporosis Foundation’s World Congress on Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis and Musculoskeletal Disease in Seville this month, I was intrigued by the very subtle reminder of the limitations of bone density measurement and discovered what is needed for movement and exercise to be highlighted among osteoporosis treatment and prevention strategies within our health care systems.
